Ready Alert: Now chocolate? Arrgghhh
So a recall of chocolate is possible due to salmonella, the CBC reports from Canada:
Kraft Canada Inc. is warning consumers that its Baker’s white chocolate baking squares may be contaminated with salmonella.
The product, which was distributed across the country, is being withdrawn from the marketplace.
The recall announced Thursday applies to the Baker’s white chocolate baking squares sold in the 170-gram size with the UPC code 0 66188 00860 3 and the best before dates of 08 AL 04 and 08 MA 19.
Is nothing sacred? I guess not… Just to note, you can’t tumble chocolate, like you can the myriad of other items you might eat.
We get a good deal of questions around “can’t you just cook the bacteria out?” and this Baker’s chocolate issue indicates this is not the case.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post.

I honestly can’t believe the recent earthquakes we have been having in California. What I don’t really understand is how they are saying that this is typical behavior for Cali and earthquakes. Have there ever been eartquakes like this all the time? Sure there have been not not as regular or as big as the ones we have experiences. I’m not beginning to question just what exactly has caused this many earthquakes as of recent? I’m wondering your ideas on this subject?
