CulinaryPrep’s Sweet Cajun Teriyaki Chicken Wings
So I’m passing on a recipe for crazy good chicken wings
CP’s Sweet Cajun Teriyaki Chicken Wings Ingredients:
- 24 whole chicken wings, split
- 2 quarts vegetable oil for frying, yup 2 quarts
- 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon grated lime zest
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of “pick a cajun seasoning”
- 1/4 cup honey
How to Prepare:
- Tumble the wings in your CulinaryPrep and season with Teriyaki Marinade according to directions and weight
- In a large bowl, mix together the honey, lime juice, Cajun spice, lime peel, garlic, salt and ground black pepper.
- Place the flour in a plastic bag and shake the chicken wings in the flour to coat.
- In a large skillet, fry the chicken wings in hot, 1 inch deep oil until cooked through.
- Place the cooked wings in the honey/lime mixture and toss to coat well.
- Serve immediately.
Cooked these for football Sunday.
