What is a Marinade?

Marinades are flavor-infusing liquid wonderment. Mainly consisting of herbs, sauces, spices & oils, marinades can include an acid, such as lemon juice, wine or vinegar . The acid works on proteins, tenderizing the meat while balancing out sweet or spicy flavors. Sweet ingredients to the marinade can help form caramelized, crispy coatings on grilled meats.

We realized that you might want to use a marinade to baste during the bbq process, so let us tell you that the CulinaryPrep Teriyaki and this Kabob marinade makes any kind of meat grat on the grill, if if you aren’t doing a Kabob.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of lemon juice
  • 4 Splashes of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 squeezes of yellow mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarsely cracked black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Directions

  • Tumble the meat w/ Teriyaki Marinade in your CulinaryPrep
  • Fire up the grill
  • Combine the oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, black pepper & garlic in a bowl
  • Dip the the meat
  • Throw the meat on the grill
  • Baste meat, flip, baste, repeat until done
